A brain training method
What is neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive method that allows you to learn to modify your own brain activity. No surgery, no anaesthesia, no pain: a gentle and safe technique, based on neuroscience.
Non-invasive
No surgery, no anaesthesia, no pain. Nothing enters the body.
Scientist
A proven method, based on neuroscience and backed by research.
Gentle and safe
No risk to your health. A technique that respects your body and your pace.
For everyone
Accessible to children from 5-6 years old, adolescents and adults who wish to improve their well-being.
Understanding brainwaves
Neurofeedback records brain activity using small electrodes placed on the scalp (painlessly). The signals are then analysed by a computer in three steps:
1. Evaluation
The computer analyses brain activity at rest and identifies any variations from established norms, to understand which areas or frequencies require regulation.
2. Assisted training
Brain activity is linked to a video or music. The audiovisual medium serves as feedback: the brain progressively learns to increase or decrease certain activities to regain a more balanced functioning.
3. Autonomy
Over the sessions, you develop the ability to regulate your brain activity without visual or audio support. This skill becomes usable in your daily life: attention, emotional management, stability, mental clarity.
Procedure
How does a session work?
A 4-step journey to understand how you function and support your evolution over time.
1
First exchange
An initial discussion to assess your situation, your difficulties, and to define your goals together.
2
Neurofeedback sessions
A qEEG is performed to map your brain activity and precisely identify the areas and frequencies to support.
3
Gradual developments
During each session, your brain learns to better self-regulate thanks to real-time visual and auditory feedback.
4
Monitoring and autonomy
The protocols are adjusted over time to support your progress towards autonomous regulation in your daily life.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about neurofeedback
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about the method, the process and the practical modalities.
How many sessions are required to see results?
Most people start to feel the effects after 5 to 10 sessions. For long-lasting benefits, a complete programme usually includes between 20 and 40 sessions, at a rate of one to two per week.
Is qEEG neurofeedback suitable for everyone?
Neurofeedback is suitable for both adults and children, from the age of 6, with no major contraindications. It is particularly well-suited for individuals wishing to manage stress, improve their sleep, concentration, or performance.
What happens during a neurofeedback session?
Comfortably seated, sensors are placed on your scalp to measure your brain activity. You watch a screen while your brain learns, through visual and auditory feedback, to better self-regulate. The session lasts about 45 minutes.
Is neurofeedback reimbursed by social security?
QEEG neurofeedback is not covered by the French social security system, but some mutual insurance companies (mutuelles) offer "alternative medicine" packages which can cover all or part of the sessions. A detailed invoice will be provided to facilitate these claims.
Are there any side effects or contraindications?
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, drug-free method with no known side effects. However, it is not recommended for severe neurological conditions. An initial assessment ensures that the method is suited to your situation.
